The FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the deposit refundable?

A: No, the deposit is not refundable.

Q: Do I need a passport?

A: Passports are not required but they are strongly recommended. This is a closed-loop cruise. Closed-loop cruises are round-trip cruises that depart from and return to the same U.S. port while visiting at least one foreign port in between. For these cruises, a passport is not strictly required. Instead, you can board with a government-issued photo ID (like a driver’s license) and proof of citizenship (such as a certified birth certificate).

HOWEVER, having a passport book (not a passport card) can simplify customs procedures, speed up boarding, and provide a safety net if you need to fly home unexpectedly.

More Information on Passports

Q: Can I book a cabin that is not listed?

A: Yes! Complete the Quote Request Form and select the room options that you are interested in. The deposits start at $200. You will be notified within 24-48 hours of the full deposit amount.

Q: Can I have more than 2 people in my cabin?

A: Yes! Complete the Quote Request Form and select the room options that you are interested in and provide the required information for all guests. The deposits start at $200. You will be notified within 24-48 hours of the full deposit amount.

Q: Can I come alone (solo)?

A: Yes! Solo cabins are offered on Utopia of the Seas, subject to availability. However, most cruise fares are based on double occupancy. If you book a double‑occupancy stateroom and sail alone, the cruise line adds a single supplement to cover the “extra” guest. On Utopia of the Seas, the supplement is generally in the 100–200% range for double‑occupancy rooms.

Q: Can my loyalty number be added to this sailing?

A: Yes! When filling out the Quote Request Form, please include your loyalty number. It will be added to your reservation.

Q: When is the best time to reach Orlando?

A: At least 1 day before. (I will reach out around 12 months prior to the cruise regarding a hotel block and transportation to the port).

Q: What identification is needed to cruise?

A: Either a passport book, OR birth certificate and state issued ID.

Q: Do I have to participate in group activities?

A: No! This is YOUR vacation, so you have the freedom to participate in group activities as little or as much as you want!

Q: Are payment plans available?

A: Yes! After a deposit is made, you can make monthly payments towards your reservation until April 1, 2027.

I also offer financing options (for the total amount or for partial amount) for qualified applicants to spread payments over up to 18-24 months.

If you would like more information regarding financing options, feel free to contact me.

Q: What if I've never cruised before?

A: Perfect! this is a great cruise option for a first-time cruiser, due to the shorter itinerary. I will also be there every step of the way to help with any questions or concerns.

Q: Can families come?

A: Yes! The more, the merrier! This cruise and ship is family-friendly with options for kids' clubs, shows, and tons of activities.

Q: Is travel insurance recommended?

A: Yes! I always strongly recommend travel insurance. With all of life's uncertainties, protecting your vacation investment is extremely important.

Q: What happens if prices change?

A: As your travel agent, I keep a check on pricing as we go. Should rates lower, I can request the lower rate for you, saving you time and money.
